iRiver Clix

The iRiver Clix is another great alternative to the iPod nano with way more features. The sleek, multimedia 2 GB player (a revamping of iRiver's pricier U10 model) has an ultra-bright, intuitive and customizable 2.2" display that looks like a miniature TV. It also has tactile controls, a built-in voice recorder to leave yourself notes, a handy alarm clock and FM tuner, plus lots of preloaded tunes from eMusic and games to keep your fingers busy. The Clix offers 13 EQ settings to optimize the sound quality of various genres of music. We also like this feature: a button on the side functions as a smart key, a shortcut to the feature of your choice (for example, it can take you to the main menu, shuffle all tracks, and start and stop recording). You can view text, JPEG photos or slide shows while listening to music. Text on the screen also tells you what song is coming up next.
