Apple iPods
Apple recently unveiled slimmer, beefed-up versions of its insanely popular iPod family, known for its super-simple design, excellent sound quality, patented touch-sensitive click wheel and ease-of-use with iTunes. The least expensive is the Shuffle, which they've shrunk to about the size of a matchbook. It now carries more music — up to 240 songs. The Nano has also gotten a makeover. It's lighter and thinner (it could fit in your wallet!) and comes in fresh new colors. It also has a 40 percent brighter display and longer battery life than its predecessor. It holds up to 2,000 songs or 25,000 photos. The iPod, also thinner and brighter than the previous generation, comes with a whopping 30 or 80 GB memory. Eighty GB would let you store up to 20,000 songs, 25,000 photos or 100 hours of video — available for purchase at the iTunes website, of course.
